Privacy Policy – Templatanium Gmail Templates

This policy describes how the Templatanium Gmail Templates Chrome extension (“the extension”) handles information.

Data stored on your device

The extension uses Chrome’s storage.sync to save only your preferences, on your device:

• Optional dev API base URL and “dev override” flag (if you use a custom backend)
• Optional template filter labels (which labels to show in the list)

This data is not sent to us except when you use features that call our API (see below).

Data sent to our servers

When you use the extension to list or insert templates, it sends requests to the API you have configured (by default https://api.templatanium.com). Those requests:

• Use your existing session (cookies) so the API can recognize you if you are logged in
• May include template identifiers and label filters you choose
• Do not include the text of your emails; template content is fetched from the API and inserted only into the compose window in Gmail, under your control

We do not sell your data. We use API traffic only to operate and improve the service (e.g. reliability, support).

Gmail and host access

The extension requests access to mail.google.com so it can add a “Templates” button to the compose window and insert template content into the compose body when you choose to. It does not read your mailbox or send email on your behalf except by inserting content you explicitly choose.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the extension after changes means you accept the updated policy.
